INSPIRATION

Adam Hall was born on 9 October 1987 with Spina Bifida.

He discovered snow sports at six, when the mother of a friend who also has Spina Bifida encouraged him to try skiing. It was a proud day in June 2005 when Adam was named in the New Zealand Disabled Ski Team and, in September, in the New Zealand Paralympic Ski Team to compete in the 2006 Games at Torino, Italy.

WHAT IS SPINA BIFIDA?

Spina bifida is a birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don’t form properly. It falls under the broader category of neural tube defects.
